Just saying hi!

I just wanted to drop in and say hi. I know that I haven't posted in a couple days but that is because nothing has really been going on. I was off this past Saturday and I dyed my hair a little darker and I got a pedicure and I got my eyebrows waxed. Other than that, not much just a whole lot of work! I did find out yesterday that I will be driving my aunt Nancy to Ohio with me which should be fun. I will keep in touch- got to get back to work!

New Pet

I got a new Eel. It is a striped Peacock Eel. He is freshwater and now lives with my goldfish. I named him Scrooge for 2 reasons. I love "The Christmas Carol" and he is pretty ugly. I just wanted something a little different that could live with my goldfish. I also got a new baby goldfish that is a black moor. He is so tiny and I named it Scrappy. He looks just like my first fish Pepper looked like but a lot smaller. So right now, in my fish tank, I have 3 goldfish: Sniper, Stella, and Scrappy, and one eel: Scrooge. See a pattern? I know, I"m weird. No worries, I will not do that with my kids.

Excited about the Holidays

I am so excited about the Holidays that I can hardly contain myself. I have already started listening to Christmas music. How pathetic is that? It is not even Thanksgiving yet and already Christmas music. I am very excited to go and spend Thanksgiving with my dad in a week and a half. I just wish I could stay longer, but I have to come home to my boys and back to work. I will be leaving the 20th and home the 22nd. I guess that is a plus to him moving to Ohio. I get to see him more often even though it is not for that long. I also get to see my grandpa which is priceless because he is getting old and not all that well. He will be 91 in January and I am so happy to get to spend as much time with him as possible. Anyways, I have to get back to work. Thanks for letting me blab on and on.

Home Baby Zak Home

Baby Zak came home yesterday afternoon from the vet. He is such a trooper and was running around crazy like he never had surgery the day before. I had to tell him to stop and calm down because he would just run and run and tried to play with his brother. The doc said that he had big balls so he still has a little pouch of skin hanging down. I am not sure how much of it is swelling and how much of it will go away as he gets a little bigger and fatter. He is still a little confused as to what has happened to him. He is a great little doggie though. I love him and even though Chip doesn't act like it- I know he is happy that his little brother is back home.

Zak got Neutered!

Zak got neutered this morning! The doc called about 10:30 a.m. and told me that he was just waking up from the sleepy medicine and he did great and everything looked good. I am so proud of my little trooper. They will be keeping him overnight just to check him tomorrow and throughout the night for any swelling or any other problems. Keep him in your prayers that he still stays healthy. Love you all!

New Gun

Randy bought a new gun yesterday for our Christmas present. It is so pretty! I love it! It is a 9mm Springfield gun. We went to the gun range today on Peachtree Industrial and figured out that Sunday mornings are not a good time to go. All of the lanes were packed and there were people in line so we just left and had lunch at Taco Mac and then went home. It was a nice afternoon but I was very disappointed that I couldn't shoot my brand new gun. We do not hunt and we are not going to keep it loaded in the house. I and Randy are probably going to take a gun safety class. Things are gettin' really crazy around house with alot of break-ins and burglaries and kidnappings and we used to live in a good neighborhood. There has also been alot of coyotes seen around our neighborhood. It is purely for defense and target shooting. I love it and Randy loves it!

Halloween 2008

So last night was Halloween of 2008 and it was a blast. I went over to Sara's house and went trick-or-treating with Sara, Kilissa, Coleman boy, and my baby Zak. Sara was Dorothy, Kilissa was Sleeping Beauty, Coleman boy was Spiderman, and Zak was a devil, and I was an Eskimo hottie! We went to a few houses and then Sara was having issues with her red slipper shoe covers so we went back home and dropped off Coleman boy who also was not happy and then we went back out and did a few more houses and then KK said she was tired and wanted to go back home so we went back home and I thought we were done. Then Kilissa decided she wanted to go back out and we did and then Zak got really tired and was resting in my arms and then he wanted to get down and he wouldn't walk so I went home and KK and Sara continued to go out for a little longer. It was fun though and I got a lot more candy than I did last year. For all of you people who think grown-ups should not get candy. You need to get over it. I dressed up and dressed my dog up and went up to all the doors as the kids did and was happy and polite. The holiday is for everyone just be quite and be happy! Enjoy next year!!!

Zak's latest Graduation!

So Zak graduated tonight from the Intermediate Education class. I am so proud of him! I have posted a few of the pics from it. The next step would be going to Advanced Education and then taking a test for completion of all of them, but I have decided against the next step. I reviewed the commands taught in the class and they are pretty much only necessary if you have a show dog-I am not paying $109 for socializing my dog for an hour for 8 weeks. The teacher did recommend that I enroll him in the Click-A-Trick class which is actually an agility class. I definitely want to do that. The dogs have to be at least 1 year of age (which Zak will not be until March 24). I think he is a little ball of energy and so smart that I think he will do great in the class. We will see where we stand in about 6 months. Wish us luck!

Crazy Weekend

So this past weekend I dog sat for 3 little puppies. Sweet Babies! I finally came home Sunday night after work and it was so relaxing. I love dog sitting, but I also love coming back home to all of my babies. They get so excited to see me.
My grandmother's birthday is coming up soon and I wanted to do something special for her because she has always been is secretive about her birthday and her age. I bought her photo ornaments. I made three of them at shutterfly.com. They are so cute and I hope she likes them very much. One picture was of her and her sister and my cousin's wedding, one was of me and her at my wedding, and the other one is of me, Randy, and her at my wedding. Too cute!!!
Zak graduates next Monday from Intermediate class at Petsmart. It is bitter sweet. He loves to go and have fun and play with the other puppies and I love to watch him play like that because he certainly doesn't get it at home. On the other hand, it will be kinda nice to not have to worry about going every Monday night. It can get a little exhausting sometimes. The next step is Advanced class but I don't think he will need it at all. Some of the stuff he has learned in this class now he doesn't even do at home unless we give him treats. Spoiled rotten little boy! I will be sure to post his graduation photos next week.
He is scheduled to get neutered on Nov.3. Very sad! Wish him luck (well, as much as he can get). Peace out!

The weekend

So I am officially dog/house sitting for the Boudet's which has 3 little Chihuahuas this weekend. They kept me up all night! Maybe it was the excitement of having someone new at their house- I don't know! But I love these babies! They see me so much that they know who I am and Tiny even got so excited when she saw me that she went a little pee pee. I also go to see both of my own boys last night as my husband brought them up to work for me to see. Chip is recovering nicely. He is playing with Zak and he was playing with Randy today. I will see them tomorrow night for a little bit since I am off.
I also went and did a little shopping tonight on my way home from work. Kim gave me a gift card for my birthday and told me I could only use it on myself so I did just that. I went to T J Maxx and bought a cute little summer/spring dress, a purse, and some new black socks for work for only $25.00. Not bad, right? Thanks Kim! You are the best!
Ohhhh....I am still trying to get pregnant and want to so bad. I keep seeing all my friends having babies and it makes me sad. Now don't think that just because they are having babies, I want one. Not true!!! I have wanted one very badly for a long time now, I am just now officially trying and I know it is still very early, but it doesn't change how I feel. I am also praying for great fertility for me and my best friend April! Baby on woman! Love ya!
Once again, thanks for reading my ramble! I really appreciate. Maybe one day soon I will have something a little more important to talk about! wink wink!

Chip's Birthday

Today is Chip's 6th birthday! He went this morning to get his stitches taken out. He is a happy little boy and actually was playing with Zak this morning. He is also getting special treats today. He is a spoiled little boy! Please wish him a happy birthday!

Not a whole lot...

So not a whole lot has been going on. I have not been feeling very well between my lovely woman "thing" and now I have a cold sore on the tip of my tongue and one on the back top part of my gum. These cold sores hurt so much they give me headaches and today my husband was a little cranky towards me so the day was not great. He did apologize, but ultimately I still feel like crap. I start house/dog sitting this weekend tomorrow for 3 little Chihuahuas. They are so cute. I am auntie Danie to them. So with all of this needless to say the baby making part has been a little postponed until I and Randy both start feeling better. Randy has also been feeling like crap too with his blood pressure going through the roof and his stubbornness keeping him from going to the doctor. He has a leaky heart valve and he thinks that the doctor will not be able to do anything for him. Men are so stubborn!!! Anyways, thanks for reading my ramble. I'll keep you all posted this weekend with the puppies I am watching and I am also going to go look for my Halloween costume-fun!!!

Cumming Country Fair was a blast!

So yesterday I went to the fair with my pseudo child Kilissa. I love her and was so happy to spend some time with her. It has been a long time since I have seen her. Originally the plan was to go with Erika and meet Jonathan and Mindy there. The morning of Erika cancelled on me and since I didn't want to feel like the third wheel I tried quickly to find someone else to go with and blessed enough to go with KK. Then when Mindy and Jonathan were supposed to meet me, Jonathan called and cancelled on me. Thank goodness I brought KK because I would have been left high and dry and felt very stupid at the fair. Anyways, we had a blast and that is all that matters!

Cumming Fair

So Sunday I am going to the Cumming Country Fair. I am so excited about going. Fairs are just fun and the fattening food is the best. I love the fall time because of all the fairs. I didn't get a chance to go last year because I did not have anyone to go with and couldn't work it out with work. How exciting! Maybe I will take some pics so I can post some new ones! Chat later!

Shopping Online

So I love shopping online- anyone else? I just bought some new food bowls for Zak and some new cutie pajamas for Chip, even though he can't really wear them until he is fully healed. The boys love to eat and will eat very fast and sometimes make themselves sick. Goodness, we feed them 3x a day. What do they have to be hungry about? Anyways, because of this they have to use special "Brake fast Bowls" that kinda have 3 prongs in the middle of the bowls to help the dogs slow down their eating habits. This way they have to maneuver themselves around to eat everything. These bowls are the best things I have ever seen. If you need some you can get them at Amazon.com. Of course the pajamas are too cute!!! They are brown and beige with little doggies on it and little bones and are thermal. I love them!!!!

Zak is such a Show Off!!!

So tonight I took Zak to puppy class (Intermediate) and he was such a show off. We were going over "heel with left and right turns". I took a shot in the dark and asked the teacher if I could try it with him without his leash on. She got a shocked look on her face and said, "Go ahead". So I tried for the first time and he did it perfectly. I and the rest of the class were shocked and amazed at how great he did. I swear he does it all for the treats. He has a harder time at home doing stuff because we don't want him to be dependant on getting treats every time. I am so proud of my little show off. I love my smart boy Zak!!!

Frustration

So Chip came home yesterday and he is such a handful with his very new surgery and stitches. He is wearing an E-collar all day long but still tries very hard and comes very close to getting to his stitches. I actually have to watch him more than I have to watch Zak trying to get him. Totally not what I thought, but Zak is a very submissive scared dog most of the time anyways. I have been very frustrated with Chip but at the same time I am very glad that he is home with us and not at the vet and once again, it saved us a nice bit of cash because he came home so early.
By the way, still no signs of pregnancy but wish I would get pregnant soon.

Chip's Home!!!

Chip came home this morning!!! He had surgery yesterday and everything went well and we can keep a better eye on him at home than they can at the vet's office over the weekend. I can't wait to get home and see him. He has to wear one of those collars because he has an incision on his front legs from the IV's and things and he has stitches on his booty. On Chip's birthday (the 16th) he gets to go back and have his stitch's removed.

Chip's Surgery

So today Chip has gone in for his surgery to remove his anal glands. The doctor called about 2:30 and told us that he is fine and the surgery went great. They will be keeping him over the weekend and I should be able to pick him up on Monday with no problem. Well of course he will still be very sore and might even have to wear a little collar thingy to keep him from trying to lick his stitches, but at least he will be at home with the family. I miss him already!

Jobs in Need

So a few people in family could use some better permanent jobs. They are all hard working employees and pretty much can do anything. Most of them have restaurant background but would prefer to get out of the food industry. They are pretty much available for the areas of Duluth, Johns Creek, Roswell, and Alpharetta. Depending on the job they may be willing to travel a little bit further. With the way the economy is going so far I am not sure if anyone can help but if anyone knows of anything please let me know and I can pass the message along. Thank you so much for your help and concern.

eating healthier

So I also forgot to tell you all that 3 out of 4 of my goldfish have now died. We think there was something in the gravel. Randy cleaned it before he ever even put it in the aquarium but apparently it was something that was too strong and didn't want to die. So we have thrown away all that gravel and bleached the aquarium and are waiting a few more days to put the last of the goldfish in there to see how he does. If goes OK then we will probably buy 1 or 2 more goldfish just because the tank is so big and needs more than just 1 tiny little goldfish. I'll keep you all posted on the fishes.
So since the weekend I have kinda let myself go again as far as eating healthy goes and to tell you the truth I have felt like crap again. I have just been drinking a lot of soda and snacking on junk food and eating fattening foods. I haven't been eating healthy for that long but it is amazing how much better I have already felt since starting it. So moral of the story is to stay eating healthy (especially if I want to get pregnant). Baby needs a good home and doesn't deserve to start off with bad nutrition.

New Pics

Check out all the new pics of my boys and family!

A long crazy week

So I don't know exactly where to start. Last week I celebrated my 25Th birthday and Zak's 6 month birthday. I went to my Uncle Russ' funeral and I also went to a 2 day conference downtown. The "Women of Faith" conference was amazing and I had a lot more fun than I did last year. It is just so inspiring and uplifting and at a great time in my life. Chip has to have his surgery to remove his anal glands this weekend. We will drop him off bright and early Friday morning and will hopefully pick him up Monday morning if all goes as planned. Poor Baby Zak will be left at home without his cool brother to play with all weekend. I think he is going to be so sad. Then probably another week or two we will have Zak's surgery to have him neutered. He will probably be staying overnight just to monitor him and make sure he doesn't go wild at home and lose his stitches. On the other hand, Chip will love being away from his little brother overnight. he still does not like Zak. I just wish they would get along. Zak loves his big brother and will follow him everywhere and watch everything that he does. Anyways, that is all for now as I need to spend more time with my boys.

Funeral

So today was the funeral for my Uncle Russ. It was a beautiful ceremony. It was graveside and a beautiful day out. They had a bagpiper there and Air Force members. I balled my eyes out. Yesterday was my birthday and I got to spend it with both my dad and my mom (but not together of course). It was really great. Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday. I love all of you guys.
Tomorrow I am leaving bright and early in the morning to go to the "Women of Faith" conference downtown and am really excited about it and think that God could not have planned it at a better time.
Anyways, I am at work right now and need to get back to it. Love you all!

Uncle Russ

So I found out today that my Uncle Russ is only a couple of hours away from passing away. He had a heart attack just before labor day and has not since recovered. My dad, step mom, and grandfather will be coming down here tomorrow from Ohio preparing to stay the entire week if necessary. We are waiting day by day to hear the updated news. He was a great guy and I hope he will be better off in Heaven. Praise God!

Fish Deaths

So apparently my fish got really sick. Within the past two days all 3 of my Tropical Fish have died. Peace to Whopper Jr., Jackson, and Big Mac. You will always be remembered! Because of this terrible tragedy, we have decided to thoroughly clean that 55 gal aquarium and move the 4 goldfish into that (and see if they will get any bigger than what they are) (they grow to their max depending on their aquarium size) and we will be selling all of our other fish aquariums and stand and food that they did not eat. If you are interested, keep in eye out on Craig's List.com. We also got a Betta fish last Sunday and she is alone in her fish bowl. She is very tiny and her name is Bella. She is a Female Crown tail Betta (whatever that means). Thanks for your support!

Diet Plan

So I have decided to start a diet by Sparkpeople.com. It seems to be really helpful and best of all...it is FREE!!!! They give you a meal plan every day to follow and you can change the meals if you want to accordingly. It specifies it to you specifically! According to the plan, I am currently 148 lbs. (mostly boobs ;) ) and by 3/27/09 I should be 121 lbs. How exciting?! That is of course if I do not get pregnant. Either way, eating healthy is better for me anyways and it is supposed to increase fertility. But of course anything is better than what I have been eating. Wish me luck and check it out if you would like! Thanks!

Newest Update

So sorry I have not been following up with my blog. I will try to do a better job of it. I have just been so busy and got kinda tired tired of updating myspace, facebook, and a blog. A little much for someone who doesn't have much to talk about but animals and work. So the beginning of this month I celebrated my one year anniversary. Got through the toughest part of marriage right?! I want to wish congratulations to my cousin Brandon for marrying his girlfriend Lisa who is just a doll. I love them. The small intimate ceremony was beautiful.
So anyways, guess who has decided to try to start a family? Me!!! I couldn't be more excited about it. My last bc pill was last Monday and practicing for babies has been great. My husband would like to wait a little longer to have some more money but I am too anxious and he loves me. My friend April will also be starting a new family (or at least trying) at the end of October. For those of you who were there, she was my maid of honor. Wouldn't that be cool if we were pregnant together?! So the boss has been informed also of the hopeful new addition to the family- so keep me in your prayers for my fertileness (is that even a word?). Anyways, I will need a few more days to update my photos and I appreciate you all keeping up with me. Love ya!

New Email Address

I have finally changed my email address- it is now daniemid9207@yahoo.com. For those of you who read this and may need it again after the email you probably received. Please save it to your contacts. I will continue to check my other email for about another month, but than after that I will not have it anymore. Thanks for checking on my blog!

Current daily life

First off, my dad was in town last week for business and was lucky enough to get to see him not only once but twice. I was so happy. We also got to have a dinner with my dad and the three kids- besides my wedding, it has been a very long time since we have all gotten together. He was happy and so was I.
Secondly, my husband and I actually have a very small chance to get to have a vacation and are planning on going to TN, but are struggling to find someone to watch the "kids". You know our "special needs" child, Chip. I am also trying to not just find a dog sitter but someone that I can trust to stay over at our house because they are very spoiled and sleep with us in our beds. If it does not work out. We have 2 last resorts- Camp Woof or take them with us. It is very frustrating and the part that really sucks is that it is only for 4 days and only in TN- a couple of days!!! UUGGGHHHHH!!!
Zak starts puppy classes tomorrow night and I am actually kinda nervous. One for the fact that I am afraid it is too early- he barely listens to us at home so I am not sure if he will listen to me at school. Also, we have now had him for 3 1/2 weeks and he is still not potty trained. Absolutely no desire to use the potty pad except first thing in the morning. I thought it would be a little bit easier than it has been. Aren't puppies supposed to be attracted to the puppy pads?! They all say, "100% guaranteed attraction"! Well I say either Bu** Sh** or I have a broken dog!

New Puppy

I got a brand new puppy on Thursday night. He is the cutest thing ever. He is a Maltese/ Shi Tzu mix and is 11 weeks old today and his name is Zak. He currently only weights 4 lbs and seems to be all fur. He is all black with a white belly and white paws. Chip is adapting to him better than I thought but still not as well as I will hope for. He just seems to be a minor annoyance in Chip's life. I am also not house sitting anymore (or until further notice). It is very surprising, but I do not have anymore dates set in place yet for the rest of the year. Crazy huh? I know everyone thinks I am crazy, but I will be sending out announcements for the new puppy. If you would like one and do not receive one within the next 2 weeks, please let me know and I will send you one. Love to all and all happy puppies!

Update

For anyone that has been conversing with me within the past 2 months, you all know that I have been suffering severely from allergies. Classic symptoms such as itchy throat, itchy, watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose (grossly), and so on. I have an appointment this Thursday to have an allergy test done. Lets hope it doesn't say that I am allergic to Chip! Of course, this morning I have woken up with pretty much no symptoms, but a little sneezing attacks throughout the day. Wish me luck and i will keep you all posted on the results!

Fishies!

I forgot to tell everyone that the other day one of my fish passed away. It was the one that had been sick for awhile now and we tried everything but it just didn't seem to respond to anything. We are now down to 7 lonely fish, but are planning our next "Big Tank" when we have more casualties. The new tank will be a salt water tank and have some seahorses and some really colorful fish and some beautiful bright coral. I am super stoked but I also know that it won't be for a while down the road.

Haven't been here in awhile!

So where do I start, I have actually been quite busy since my last post. Last Saturday my church had a community help out and a bunch of us did so much for the community and hopefully helped change some lives. There were 3 different places to help out: A senior living house, pick up road side trash and my favorite the ABBA House. I helped out at the ABBA House in Cumming, GA which is a place for women and children who have addiction problems or have been abused. We worked on two different houses at the location and did some light yard work in the rain. We worked quickly and revamped the houses for some wonderfully strong and beautiful women and their kids. I am no longer a painting virgin. It was really life changing and eye opening. I just wish I could do stuff like that full time. Then Sunday we had church and then at 12:00 our church catered Five Guys. HHHMMMM.........hhhhmmmm......delicious!!!! Then Monday night we had a meeting at church again for mission trips (or World Care) as they are calling it now. I have been struggling ever since then with a tough decision. I really want to do a mission trip this year and had narrowed it down to 2 different places. I called and spoke to my husband and we decided that Cinncinatti would be the best place for my first mission trip. Then throughout the night they were handing out prizes and long story short, I wound up with a coupon for 50% off of the Jamaica Fall trip (which had been my other option). Once I got the coupon I thought that I was obligated to go to Jamaica. I went home and discussed it some more with my husband and we leaned back to Cincinnati. With me going to Ohio for a mission trip, I could also get a chance to see my dad, step mom and sick grandfather and because it is at the beginning of December, we could even celebrate and early Christmas together, right? This way I am serving God and Family because my work schedule does not really allow me to take a whole lot of time off, I can only do one trip. So here it is: Cincinnati, Ohio December 4-7.
A week later I am now on another dog sitting trip for my 3 little Chihuahuas in Cumming until the 18th. Then I will be home for a week to celebrate Memorial Day and my husband's birthday and then I will be back here for another week of dog sitting on May 30-June 6th. I love my life as it stands and feel that God has placed these special people in my life and has "given me options" as a great friend has put to me. I love all of you and hope that you pray for me that no one will get upset that I have chosen Ohio over Jamaica because it is still a mission trip to help serve God and serve those in need of God in their lives. Thank you.

Help in the community

Well the time has come and tomorrow I will be helping out in the community and trying to be a good civilian. My church is hosting this and a group of us will spend the day at the ABBA House in Cumming, GA just fixing it up and painting and yard work and cleaning. Surprisingly I am super stoked about it! I am bringing some cleaning products so I am assuming I will be doing the cleaning part but I will see when I get there. Pray for us and these poor abused women living in the house! Love ya'll!

Help?

Ok so I need some help! The other day I saw the cutest thing and have just been dying to get one. Well, we've all seen the "Baby on Board" diamonds on cars, right? I saw one that said, "4 legged baby on board"! Is that not the cutest thing? For all of you that know me, my car is the doggie (Chip) mobile, I need this to add to it! Can anyone help me? I have been googling it all night!

Sunday, April 27, 2008

Last night I saw the movie, Juno, for the first time. I have heard only good things about it before. I have to admit that I thought it was pretty cute and funny and selfless. It is just different than all the other movies that have been coming out lately.
I had church this morning and were happy to see all my friends there. The message wasn't quite as great as last week but that is OK. I am totally stoked for the next weekend. My church is catering Five Guys to everybody and I am volunteering at a house doing light construction. The great thing is that the house is the ABBA House and it is for battered and abused women and children. It really helps make me feel like I am making a change.
Tomorrow is my day off and Randy I are planning to go shopping for shutters for our side lights and than go bowling. Bowling rocks! I hope everyone has a great day and I'll be back!

Memorable Braves Game

Last night Randy and I went to our first Braves Game since the wedding. We had matching jerseys on. Too cute! This was truly game for history. John Smoltz got his 3,000 strikeout plus more. Unfortunately they ended up losing the game but overall while John Smoltz was in the game he got 10 strikeouts! Pretty cool huh! I will post some pictures later when I get my camera out of my husband's car. Sorry!
I also have been suffering pretty bad from allergies and have made a docs apt for this Friday to at least be referred to an allergist. I have never suffered this bad before. Anyways, I hope you all are enjoying my life. Keep reading for more!

Busy day at work

Today was a very busy day in the chicken world! We haven't quite had a busy day like this in a long time. Too bad it doesn't reflect on my paycheck! Whopper and Whopper Jr. seem to be doing a little bit better and actually swimming around more. They still don't look healthy but there actions are speaking loud and clear. I start house/dog sitting this weekend tomorrow so its laundry time. If anybody ever needs a dog sitter please keep me in mind. I love dogs and my husband is so wonderful with staying home and taking care of my son and my fish.

A few thoughts crossed my mind today. One thought was about life. Do you ever sit back and wonder if everyone else lives the same type of way you do? I know I talk to friends and family and they tell me their living situations, but for some reason I still feel like the way that I live is different than anyone I know. Confusing? I think so.

Another thought that I had was about my grandfather. He has been diagnosed with Cancer at 90 years old and has also been strugling to get his blood pressure under control. I think about him all the time and found out yesterday that he has a new cancer spot on his forehead. He keeps his spirits high and tries to live his life to the fullest. At his age, how can you not? When the time does come, he will be one truly missed man and a great dancer. He is my dad's best friend.

First Posting

I just wanted to say hi to everyone and thanks for checking it out. I know my life is not all that exciting, but I will try to keep this worth reading at least most of the time. For those of you who don't know, a quick little background of myself. I am newly married as of September 2, 2007, I have a dog who I treat like my son. His name is Chip and and he acts more like a human than a dog. I also have 8 fish, 4 fancy goldfish and 4 tropical fish. The fancy goldfish's names are Pepper, Tiger, Sniper, and Dexter. The tropical fish's names are Lily, Jackson, Whopper, and Whopper Jr. Currently Whopper and Whopper Jr. are both quite sick and we have been trying to treat them, but they don't seem to be improving very much. Please keep them in your prayers. This is all for tonight as I will be going to bed shortly. I just wanted to introduce myself and keep you informed of my life and times!
