Last night I saw the movie, Juno, for the first time. I have heard only good things about it before. I have to admit that I thought it was pretty cute and funny and selfless. It is just different than all the other movies that have been coming out lately.
I had church this morning and were happy to see all my friends there. The message wasn't quite as great as last week but that is OK. I am totally stoked for the next weekend. My church is catering Five Guys to everybody and I am volunteering at a house doing light construction. The great thing is that the house is the ABBA House and it is for battered and abused women and children. It really helps make me feel like I am making a change.
Tomorrow is my day off and Randy I are planning to go shopping for shutters for our side lights and than go bowling. Bowling rocks! I hope everyone has a great day and I'll be back!

Memorable Braves Game

Last night Randy and I went to our first Braves Game since the wedding. We had matching jerseys on. Too cute! This was truly game for history. John Smoltz got his 3,000 strikeout plus more. Unfortunately they ended up losing the game but overall while John Smoltz was in the game he got 10 strikeouts! Pretty cool huh! I will post some pictures later when I get my camera out of my husband's car. Sorry!
I also have been suffering pretty bad from allergies and have made a docs apt for this Friday to at least be referred to an allergist. I have never suffered this bad before. Anyways, I hope you all are enjoying my life. Keep reading for more!

Busy day at work

Today was a very busy day in the chicken world! We haven't quite had a busy day like this in a long time. Too bad it doesn't reflect on my paycheck! Whopper and Whopper Jr. seem to be doing a little bit better and actually swimming around more. They still don't look healthy but there actions are speaking loud and clear. I start house/dog sitting this weekend tomorrow so its laundry time. If anybody ever needs a dog sitter please keep me in mind. I love dogs and my husband is so wonderful with staying home and taking care of my son and my fish.

A few thoughts crossed my mind today. One thought was about life. Do you ever sit back and wonder if everyone else lives the same type of way you do? I know I talk to friends and family and they tell me their living situations, but for some reason I still feel like the way that I live is different than anyone I know. Confusing? I think so.

Another thought that I had was about my grandfather. He has been diagnosed with Cancer at 90 years old and has also been strugling to get his blood pressure under control. I think about him all the time and found out yesterday that he has a new cancer spot on his forehead. He keeps his spirits high and tries to live his life to the fullest. At his age, how can you not? When the time does come, he will be one truly missed man and a great dancer. He is my dad's best friend.

First Posting

I just wanted to say hi to everyone and thanks for checking it out. I know my life is not all that exciting, but I will try to keep this worth reading at least most of the time. For those of you who don't know, a quick little background of myself. I am newly married as of September 2, 2007, I have a dog who I treat like my son. His name is Chip and and he acts more like a human than a dog. I also have 8 fish, 4 fancy goldfish and 4 tropical fish. The fancy goldfish's names are Pepper, Tiger, Sniper, and Dexter. The tropical fish's names are Lily, Jackson, Whopper, and Whopper Jr. Currently Whopper and Whopper Jr. are both quite sick and we have been trying to treat them, but they don't seem to be improving very much. Please keep them in your prayers. This is all for tonight as I will be going to bed shortly. I just wanted to introduce myself and keep you informed of my life and times!
